We are pleased to inform you that the PhD student from the IMP PAN Smart Structures Mechanics Department, Yang Zhang, won the 32nd edition of START 2024. The START competition organized by the Foundation for Polish Science is a scholarship program for the best young scientists representing all fields of science, and its aim is to support young scientists and encourage them to further scientific development. Scholarships are selected through a multi-stage competition, in which the quality of their existing scientific achievements is assessed. Winners and winners of START in the 2024 edition will receive an annual scholarship of PLN 30 thousand. We congratulate our doctorate on being in this narrow group of distinguished young scientists and wish further success!
