General Support Department
The key tasks carried out by the General Support Department include:
- administration of the real estate of the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, Polish Academy of Sciences, including:
- the complex of buildings in Gdańsk at 14 Fiszera Street,
- the Scientists' House in Gdańsk at Świętojańska Street,
- the Holiday Centre in Kłodno, Sulęczyno municipality
- preparing lease agreements for premises used by business entities in Institute facilities
- handling matters related to insurance of Institute property
- maintaining the technical efficiency of communication systems
- planning, organising, supervising and settling renovation and maintenance works for Institute buildings and premises
- maintaining order and cleanliness on Institute premises
- purchasing technical, office and cleaning supplies
- managing company vehicles, ensuring their technical condition and meeting transport needs
- fire protection
- occupational health and safety
