Topics
The research activities of the Centre of Hydrodynamics include both in the fundamental research of flow phenomena in liquids and multiphase media on the one hand, and applications related to design, experimental and numerical analysis, as well as diagnostics of flow in hydraulic machinery (pumps, water turbines, pipelines, etc.). The Centre (about 20 people) is divided into four research groups:
- Multiphase Flow Department (head: Prof. J. Pozorski)
- Hydropower Department (head: Prof. A. Adamkowski)
- Department of Erosion Processes (head: Prof. A. Krella)
- Electrohydrodynamics Department (head: A. Krupa, Ph.D., Eng.)

Offer for industry
Centre of Hydrodynamics is committed to working with the Polish hydroelectricity. Within the framework of statutory activities are developing methods for designing machinery and hydraulic equipment and research techniques which are key to solving a series of operational problems.
