On the calculation of vorticity from velocity measurements
JERZY ŚWIRYDCZUK
Abstract
The method proposed in the paper is a modification of the conventional technique for vorticity calculations based on velocity measurements. During the calculations, time variations of velocity components are recalculated into spatial derivatives of the velocity. The results obtained by means of the modified method are compared with those of the conventional technique.
