Another Multiphase Workshops, organized by IMP PAN under the auspices of the Department of Fluid Mechanics of the Committee of Mechanics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, took place on 13-15 June. The workshops have been held cyclically since 2001 gathering 40-60 participants. This year's edition took place in Gdańsk and in Grabówek in Kaszubach. The tradition of these meetings includes a friendly atmosphere conducive to discussion, bringing together young students of science and recognised authorities in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, energy, chemical and process engineering. As part of the Summer School we hosted 7 lecturers invited from Poland and abroad (Netherlands, Germany, Norway, USA) this year; around 20% of participants were foreigners.
