On 21 October 2024, the official signing of grant agreements for projects in which we are the leader was held at our Institute, as part of the Interreg South Baltic 2021-2027 programme:

  • DecarbonDHS – “Decarbonization of district heating systems”
  • BALTWRECK – “Preventing massive marine waters chemical solution from the leading wrecks and union/ weapon dumps in the South Baltic”

They will be implemented in an international partnership with actors from Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Lithuania. The manager of both projects is Prof. Adam Cenian.

The meeting was attended by Minister, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy Konrad Wojnarowski (signing MFIPR contracts) and Minister, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy Jacek Karnowski.

Prof. Mirosława Ostrowska - Vice President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Pomeranian local government: Vice-Vicevoivoda Emila Rojka, Adam Gawrylik - Member of the Management Board of Pomorskie Voivodship and Adama Nicholasczyk Director of the Department of Regional and Spatial Development.
