We invite you to participate in the 12th edition of the conference on the interaction of fluid and solid body "12th Indigenum Conference on Fluid–Solid Interaction", which will take place from 1.09.2024 – 5.09.2024 in Wdzydza Kiszewskie. This meeting is organized annually to integrate the environment of researchers and inventors involved in modeling, testing and applying phenomena occurring at the border between fluid and solid body. The thematic scope is not strictly defined, but traditionally includes combustion processes, renewable energy sources, porous material flow, catalyst combustion, filters, fuel cells, turbine cooling, cost-effectiveness analysis and energy storage systems. We also invite entrepreneurs and employees in the energy sector to support the processes of commercialisation of scientific achievements by promoting sustainable development goals.
All papers will be delivered in Polish/English.
The workshops are co-organised by three actors:
- Department of Energy Conversion, Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk (IMP PAN)
- Institute of Basic Technology Problems of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (IPPT PAN)
- University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM)
The symposium will be located in the heart of Wdzydzki Landscape Park, offering crystal clear lakes and lush forests. Accommodation is planned in local guesthouses: in Villa Dream (https://www.helena.kaszuba.pl) and the Danuta Holiday Home.
