50 years have passed since the first use of the name and logo HYDROFORUM. The HYDROFORUM’73 conference was organised by the then Department of Liquid Dynamics of IMP PAS in cooperation with the Energy Plants of the Northern District. The theme focused on the design and operation of hydraulic rotor machines, with particular emphasis on the needs of water power.
Conferences of the first HYDROFORUM series were held until 2005, when it was considered that the existing formula had exhausted. The resumption of the cycle took place in 2011 – in a new formula, initially under the name associated with renewable energy fair RENEXPO Poland. Today's Polish Hydroenergy Conferences HYDROFORUM are annual events of regional European scope. The main organizer is the Water Power Plant Society. The permanent co-organizers are the Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Society for the Development of Small Water Power Plants.
This year's conference will be held on 25-26 October at Scandic Wrocław Hotel in Wrocław. As of 27 October, a study visit was planned at the Malczyka Water Power Plant. We invite you to read the information materials available from this web page and participate in our Jubilee!
