We are pleased to inform you that in this year's edition of the Fulbright STEM Impact Award two employees of the Institute of Flow Machinery PAS in Gdańsk received scholarships for the implementation of independent research projects in the United States.
Dr. Katarzyna Grochowska, Prof. IMP PAN, will hold an internship at the University of California, Berkeley (Laboratory for Multiphase Thermofluidics and Surface Nanoengineering).
Dr. Paweł Malinowski, Prof. IMP PAN, will hold an internship at the University of California in Northridge (Ultrasonics and Applied Mechanical Laboratory).
Fulbright STEM Impact Award is a program aimed at persons conducting research in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathmatics), employed in Polish academic and scientific institutions. The scholarship allows for the implementation of a 2-6-week research and/or teaching project and to expand knowledge of the commercialisation of science and the effective writing of grant applications in institutions in the USA. Grant can be implemented in an American college, a non-profit research institute, a non-governmental organization or another approved non-commercial institution in the US. The scholarship is addressed to research and teaching staff and staff at each stage of their career after obtaining a doctorate.
