As a result of the elections of the members of the Polish Academy of Sciences held on 26 June this year, three people associated with our institute joined the group of actual members:
- Prof. dr hab. inż. Wiesław Ostachowicz – Head of the Engineering and Engineering Centre of IMP PAS intelligent structures, Chairman of the IMP PAS Scientific Council
- Prof. dr hab. inż. Bożena Kostek – Member of the IMP PAS Scientific Council
- Prof. dr hab. inż. Michał Mrozowski – Member of the IMP PAN Scientific Council
The above mentioned persons were among 30 previous members of the Polish Academy of Sciences correspondents, who obtained the status of a real member, awarded to the most outstanding researchers. As a result of the election, 45 new researchers joined the Polish Academy of Sciences, who obtained the status of a correspondent.
