With great satisfaction we can inform that the project proposal submitted by the consortium coordinated by IMP PAN concerning the planning, modeling and management of distributed energy systems has been appreciated by the European Commission and awarded in this year's round in the Call for Twinning (Horizon 2020) competition, to which 552 research teams joined.

The project called SuPREME (Twinning for a Sustainable, Proactive Research partnership in distributed Energy systems planning, Modelling and management) will be implemented jointly with Aalborg University (Denmark), University Twente (Netherlands) and European Sustainable Energy Innovation Alliance - eseia (Austria). The grant amounts to more than EUR 1 million, of which almost EUR 0.5 million is a subsidy for IMP PAS. Twinning aims to significantly strengthen the Institute in the new research area by establishing links with leading institutions at international level.
