We are pleased to inform you that Dr Katarzyna Siuzdak, Prof. IMP PAN, who is the head of the IMP PAS Functional Materials Laboratory, was once again among 12 prominent Gdańsk scholars. Selected scientists explore different areas of science, come from different scientific centres and want to leave a better world behind. The selection of the heroines of the exhibition UCZONE together with Hevelianum was made by: professorial staff of the University of Gdańsk, Technical University of Gdańsk, Medical University of Gdańsk, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Women's Club of Fahrenheit University, representatives of the city of Gdańsk and the L'Oréal-UNESCO programme for Women and Science. The chairman of the programme board was Prof. Ewa Łojkowska.
This distinction is due to the presentation of the figures of scholars not only at the outdoor exhibition UZONE, which on 26 May 2024 was officially opened with the participation of the President of Gdańsk Mrs. Aleksandra Dulkiewicz at the Hevelianum Science Centre, but also their presentation on the website.
