EKKEHART OSE, GOZE POPOW, LUDWIG ROTHHARDT
Abstract
The character of light fluctuations in a low-current, low-pressure discharge in argon, affected by, a local transverse magnetic field is discussed. Next, the frequency spectrum as well as the distribution of the probability density of amplitudes of the emitted light signal are considered. In conclusion, the correlation length within the region of the magnetic field is estimated.
