On 17 May 2016, a meeting of the National Programme Council "Local Poland" was held at the Research Centre for Energy Conversion and Renewable Sources. The aim of the meeting was to encourage municipalities, districts and scientific units to jointly support innovation and commercialisation of new technologies.
The meeting was opened by prof. dr hab. inż. Michał Kleiber – Chairman of the Program Council “Local Poland” and Jerzy Bartnik – President of the Association of Polish Crafts and President of the National Guarantee Fund “Local Poland”. A representative of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management presented a presentation on energy efficiency support and RES for the public, residential and business sectors, while the Director of the Institute of Flow Machinery – Prof. Jan Kiciński discussed the role of municipalities in commercialising research results and warmly invited to cooperate. After the discussion, guests visited the Research Centre's Laboratories.
