During the Polish – French Science and Innovation Forum, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in cooperation with the Embassy of France in Poland and the French Institute in Poland, held on 8 June 2016 at the AGH University in Krakow, the Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences, represented by the Director – Prof. Jan Kiciński, concluded a cooperation agreement with the Commissioner of à l’énergie atomique et aux ẻnergies alternatives, represented by the Director of the Institute of Laboratories of Innovation for New Energy Technologies and Nanomaterials Mr. Florence Lambert and the Director of CEA – Ms. Małgorzata Tkatchenko.
The solemn signing of the letter of intent took place during the Green Technologies and Eco-innovation session, which was opened by the French Ambassador to Poland Pierre Buhler.
The Forum aimed to bring together French-Polish cooperation in research and innovation and opportunities for science, i.e. prospects offered by Horizon 2020 European Framework Programme for Science and Innovation. The event was attended by nearly 300 participants, including French and Polish scientists, teams involved in European projects and Polish and French scientific authorities.
