International Symposium on Experimental and Computer Aerothermodynamics of Internal Flows. IMP PAN is the organizer of the international ISAIF14 conference to be held on 8-11 July 2019 in the conference centre of the Radisson Hotel & Suites Gdańsk on the island of Spichrzów.

The conference covers not only issues concerning the development of experimental and numerical methods in aerodynamics, but in recent editions it extends to other issues also related to inaccurable flows and bio-flows.

List of topics:

  • flow in rotor machines (ventilators, compressors, turbines, pumps), inlet channels and nozzles,
  • transonic and hypersonic flows,
  • issues of laminate and turbulent wall layer,
  • multi-phase flows and flows with chemical reactions,
  • bioflows, micro- and nano-flows,
  • heat exchange flows,
  • methods of active and passive flow control.

We're going to host prominent specialists from all over the world.

List of invited speakers:

Dr.-Ing. Markus Fischer, German Aerospace Center (DLR)

Prof. Charles Hirsch, Nomeca International

Prof. Tomasz Kowalewski, Institute of Basic Technical Problems of the Polish Academy of Sciences
