On 1-4 September 2025 in Wdzydza Kiszewski, another edition of the 13th Wdzydzeanum Conference on Fluid–Solid Interaction was held, the main organizer of which was the Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and co-organizers of the Institute of Basic Technology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The meeting brought together representatives of the world of science, industry and business, providing an excellent opportunity to present research results and exchange experiences and views. We discussed the latest developments in the area of thermal flow issues and the growing potential of FSI applications in engineering and industrial practice.

Conference programme (available on the website) https://wdzydzeanum.imp.gda.pl) included both invited lectures and regular thematic sessions. Young researchers – PhD students who had the opportunity to present their first research results and to engage in inspiring discussions – were also particularly valuable.

We would like to thank all participants for their active participation, fruitful conversations and the creation of a unique atmosphere.
