We are pleased to announce that IMP PAN received, the most prestigious award awarded in the field of environmental protection - Energy Globe National Award 2015 - for the CHP project distributed based on renewable energy sources. The gala, during which Professor Jan Kiciński, accompanied by Dr. Grzegorz Żywica, received the Fire Prize, was held in Tehran at the 16th Energy Globe World Awards on 19-21 January 2016.
The ENERGY GLOBE certificate is an international recognition mark for sustainable development. We congratulate all participants in the project and quote the words of experts and the international jury:
"The fossil fuel resources are limited and will soon not cover our energy needs. The key to further sustainable development is the use of renewable energy sources. There is intensive research around the world on renewables and CO2 reductions. This year's Energy Globe Award winner in Poland made us take a big step forward in this area. The employees of the Robert Szewalski Institute of Flow Machines Polish Academy of Sciences and scientists from cooperating research units developed new technologies for the acquisition and preparation of bioenergy media and its use for electricity and heat generation.”
