On 11 June 2025, the Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences signed a framework agreement with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczny S.A., which allows the provision of advisory services of an innovative, R & D, expert, implementation and design nature in the energy sector. The solemn signing of the contract took place at PGE National Stadium in Warsaw as part of the PGE Innovation Day. The meeting was attended, among others, by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Dr Marcin Kulasek and the President of the Management Board of PGE Dariusz Lubera.
The meeting at the National PGE was an opportunity to exchange experiences and present research and technology directions relevant to the energy transformation of Poland. The offer of IMP PAN cooperation includes research and development of technologies used in the field of conventional, water and wind power, cogeneration systems, energy storage and distributed energy and RES. Cooperation with PGE under the signed agreement will focus mainly on solutions supporting energy transformation.
