We cordially invite everybody to participate in the 13th Wdzydzeanum Conference on Fluid–Solid Interaction which will be held between 31.08.2025 and 4.09.2025 in Wdzydze Kiszewskie (Poland). This event is organized to integrate the community of researchers and inventors focused on modelling, testing and utilization of phenomena occurring at the boundary between fluid and solid. That includes, but is not limited to any kind of combustion, renewable energy generation, porous media flow, catalytic combustion, filters application, fuel cells, turbines cooling, profitability studies and energy storage technologies. Entrepreneurs and power sector employees are warmly welcomed. Their feedback is an important input into the discussion about the scientific work commercialization.
All presentations will be given in Polish/English.
This symposium is co-organised by three entities:

  • Energy Conversion Department, Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk (IMP PAN)
  • Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (IFTR PAS)
  • University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM)

The Symposium venue is located in the heart of Wdzydze Landscaped Park (Kashubia region - Poland), which offers crystal lakes and wide forests. Accommodation is planned in local hotels like Villa Marzenie (https://www.helena.kaszuby.pl) and Hotel Danuta.
