Project title: Oil-free, radial cold-cooling compressors with innovative, hermetic design

Project objective:
The primary objective of the research is to develop high-turn, oil-free and hermetic low and medium-power radial compressors (from several kW to several dozen kW drive power) which will meet high functional and operational requirements. The term ‘refrigerating compressors’ shall be understood broadly, i.e. it refers to equipment intended for operation in refrigeration circuits in the broadly understood HVAC&R industry (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditionsing and Refrigeration). The characteristics of the technologies to be optimised are as follows:
- efficiency,
- durability,
- noise level,
- vibration level.
The final objective of the project is the market implementation of Polish radial technologies of low and medium-power refrigeration compressors.
