"Science4Business – Science for Business" - Task 1, Development Incubator''

The Robert Szewalski Flow Machine Institute is a partner of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the implementation of Task No. 1 "Development Incubator" of a non-competitive project called "Science4Business – Science for Business" financed by the European Union under the programme "European Funds for Modern Economy for the years 2021-2027".

As part of Task 1 "Development Incubator" implemented in IMP PAN, activities will be carried out to develop, implement and commercialise new technologies developed in the framework of completed and currently implemented R & D projects and other forms of statutory activity.
In particular, technologies relating to sustainable generation, storage, transmission and distribution of energy are taken into account. Their commercialisation will contribute to decentralising energy generation and reducing fossil fuel consumption and reducing degradation and pollution.

The project includes the following activities:

  • mapping and preliminary selection of existing research results (technology, inventions, etc.) for commercialisation,
  • marketing of technology and research offer (preparing technological and research offers, running open databases containing, in particular, technological and research offers, participation in events and organising events to promote the offer to the economy, conducting negotiations with potential buyers and concluding research contracts),
  • carrying out industrial research and experimental development work in relation to research results with identified commercial potential (work on technological and economic readiness),
  • gaining access to knowledge in the field of commercialisation, markets and cooperation with the economy, implementing systems for the management of intellectual property, commercialisation and cooperation with the economy in a scientific unit.
