On 10 March 2017, a meeting was held at the Institute of Flow Machines of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk, inaugurating two new projects to be implemented by scientists from IMP PAS in cooperation with the Gdynia SARK company. The aim of the projects is to develop new products in the form of an innovative biomass boiler and ORC microturbine.
These components will be used to build small CHP systems dedicated to domestic use, which SARK wants to market. This technology will allow high-efficiency production of green heat and electricity in households, contributing to improved air quality. SARK received funding from the Innovative Development Operational Programme under Submeasure 2.3.2 - Innovation vouchers for SMEs.
