Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to invite you to the 14th International Conference SIRM 2021 “Dynamics of Rotating Machines”, which will be held online from 17 to 19 February 2021. This conference is organised by two institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences from Gdańsk and Warsaw: the Institute of Fluid Flow Machinery (IMP PAN) and the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research (IPPT PAN). The conference will include discussions between machine manufacturers, machine operators and scientists from Poland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, Greece, France, Finland and other countries.

So far, about 40 high-quality papers have been submitted. We are planning several virtual thematic sessions during which the following topics will be discussed: rotor dynamics, bearings and seals, identification and diagnostics, turbomachines, unconventional bearing systems, mechatronics systems, balancing, case studies and other topics related to the dynamics of rotating machines. A detailed conference programme will be available after closing the submission of papers.
