Flow Choking and Maximal Flow Wet Steam Rate Calculation of Non-Equilibrium Expansions

Abstract
The phenomenon of flow choking and its influence on the maximal flow rate of non-equilibrium expanding wet steam flows has been analysed. Calculation methods allowing various degrees of approximation have been proposed. A numerical analysis of choking flows has been carried out and the effects of various factors on the choking parameters and on the maximal flow rate have been discussed.
