Mathematical Method of Designing a Reaction Turbine Cascade in Transonic Flow
MILOS RUZICKA

Abstract

Up to now, there have not been developed any safe and effective methods of mathematical that allows to design palisades vane profiles reactionary, working in the last stages of steam turbines in the area of high-power transonic flow. Palisades such designs based on the experimental results, not mathematical methods. The most appropriate method for the calculation is hodograph zone subsonic (including a line of sound), supplemented by a method of characteristics, supersonic zone.
