Abstract

The paper has the character of a review. It is based on the results of own and foreign research. lnformation is presented on energy effects of cavitation, which manifest themselves by a collapse of the machine performance characteristics. Information concerning dynamic influences which destabilize the flow, generate vibrations and noise and cause damaging of the machines (erosion, cracks), is also given.
