Abstract
Research methods used in the Department of Fluid Dynamics of the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery Polish Academy of Science, in Gdańsk and serving for detection and assessment of the degree of cavitation development in hydraulic machines and systems have been briefly reviewed.
